Construction has commenced for the Sarina Hospital Redevelopment, with site earthworks and slab pours nearly complete and structural steel commencing.

The project will deliver a new hospital to the Sarina region, replacing the current facility and relocating the hospital to a flatter, more easily accessible site.

The project consists of 3 new buildings, Clinical Services Building, staff accommodation and engineering services building.

Sarina is located approximately 40kms south of Mackay and sits within the Mackay Hospital and Health Services district.

The project is due to completion in mid 2024.
