Our portfolio of projects expand across Queensland, stretching from the border of Northern New South Wales to the Pacific including Papua New Guinea. Our reach is regional, national, and global. With offices in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Townsville, and Cairns we bring expert local knowledge merged with industry leading design thinking to deliver exciting projects that are culturally sensitive, belong to place, and enrich the lives of people who use them.
Civic and Public projects are in our company DNA. When Peddle Thorp and Harvey was established in 1963 in Brisbane, our legacy grew quickly to include the landmark AMP Gold and Blue towers, Central Plaza 1 and 2, and the Commonwealth Law courts (recipient of the 2022 Robin Gibson Award for Enduring Architecture.)
Today we are a design practice that draws from our history to make meaningful places for people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and demographics. We know that a one-size approach does not do justice to a buildings’ inhabitants, so we offer bespoke design solutions to suit the individual project’s needs, considering stakeholder’s and client’s best interests. We are the architects people choose when they want a refined aesthetic combined with a superior functionality. Synthesizing the use of cutting-edge technology and software to help our clients easily visualize the future vision for the project, with design thinking grounded in pragmatism and a sympathetic understanding of the client’s and end user’s requirements for the building.
Ultimately, our work positively impacts how people Work, Live, Care, Play, and Learn, reflecting our dedication to creating spaces that make a difference.
