The Inpatient Ward upgrades consisted of planning and finishes upgrades to the Paediatric and Bone Marrow inpatient wards on the campus to refresh older wards on the campus.

The Bone Marrow Inpatient Ward involved the relocation of this service at the hospital and required the delivery of positive pressure spaces for patient care.

The refurbishment works for the Paeds Inpatient Ward was delivered over 2 construction stages allowing for the continuation of the clinical services delivery within the existing space. This aspect of the project also delivered a new annex to the department, a parents and family retreat, providing an amenity for patients to stay close by.
