TAKUYA WATANABE

ARCHITECT

Takuya Watanabe is a registered Architect, based in our Brisbane office. He has been with Peddle Thorp since 2019 and has over 6 years of experience within the design & construction industry.

Takuya is part of the education and health teams with exceptional Building Information Modelling (BIM) skills and a focus on the delivery of highly coordinated documentation. Most recently, Takuya has been delivering projects through regional Queensland, working predominantly in large-scale redevelopments within existing campuses. These have included the CQU Rockhampton and Melbourne campus masterplans, and Thursday Island Health Facility planning and upgrades project. Takuya has previously been involved with a diverse range of projects ranging from mid-scale residential apartments through to international master planning projects.

Additionally, Takuya is a key member of Peddle Thorp’s Revit & Software Development Team. This teams focus is on improving efficiencies within our internal system processes. Takuya also forms part of the teams BIM support, assisting others throughout the design process for a better delivery outcome.
