The existing Parliament Annexe has remained almost unrenovated for the last 50 years. The long overdue upgrade works include the modernisation of the existing 5 levels of member’s offices with particular emphasis on upgrading the existing mechanical, electrical services and interiors. Larger new windows to bring in more natural light, provision of sit-stand workstations, the provision of DDA compliant offices on each level plus feature way finding artwork form part of the new works.

Peddle Thorp’s design incorporates colour concepts with finishes and embedded art that reflect the regional parts of Queensland. The accommodation and office fitout were designed to provide impact in a cost effective manner.
