The Pilbara Training College Masterplan Concept is designed to be the cornerstone of the Education and Training Precinct of Port Hedland in Western Australia. The project integrates state of the art training facilities for the region’s prevailing and upcoming industries. With the co-location of tertiary educators, research institutions, commercial partners, and other training providers.
Connections to the region’s maritime culture have been achieved through views to the marina and ocean via strategically placed glazing and rooftop decks. Building on the landscape precinct to the south, native trees around the campus link with a proposed tourist bush walk through the town.
With a focus on technological innovation, sustainability, and industry engagement, the Pilbara Training College Masterplan provides the foundation for an all-encompassing education, training, and research hub for the Pilbara and surrounds.
