Peddle Thorp were commissioned to develop a brief, design and document the building for relocation of 16th Brigade Army Aviation unit and the consolidation of the Defence Material Organisation Project Office to the new Multi-Role Helicopter acquisition and implementation programme.

Whilst designed to accommodate the specific requirements of the two organisations, the building was flexible in its planning and arrangement. Several spaces including meeting/ conference/ communication rooms have prescribed security ratings requiring specialised construction.
