FAST FACTS

THE DETAILS

The Education and Skills Centre was developed to provide appropriate education and training facilities to support the future increases in staff and students at Caboolture Hospital.

The project provides Caboolture Hospital with a skill centre comprising a library, a lecture theatre, student facilities for studying and casual interactions as well as simulation areas for clinical education of students and clinicians.

This project was made possible through Australian Government support under the Innovative Clinical Teaching and Training Grant Scheme.

The Caboolture Education and Skills Centre provides vital training for medical students in an innovative and modern environment for the growing regional medical hub.

A stand-alone construction and functioning separately from the main hospital, the new building will help ensure the Caboolture Hospital master plan can proceed in the future, allowing healthcare facilities in the region to be expanded in a thoughtful and well-resourced way.
